World is a non-profit organization which was started by professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact on lives of underprivileged people in rural and urban areas of Kurnool, Kapada and other Districts of Andhra Pradesh. World is extremely happy to announce that we have successfully completed two decades of journey in empowering Youth, Women, Girl child from vulnerable backgrounds in the area of Education, Health and Awareness Programmes. World aims to achieve Equal access to opportunity by encouraging responsibility, building self-confidence and creating a sense of optimism in the stakeholders and communities in which we work. We believe we can make a difference by helping people to help themselves and to lead a life of dignity.
We run several programmes across India, we also work in tandem with numerous government agencies, civil society organizations, and communities. We have been working successfully for over two decades in empowering Women, Unprivileged Children, Special Children, Education, Health & Nutrition, Vocational Training, Awareness Programmes, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, Human rights, HIV AIDS. By facilitating meaningful engagement.
Our prime focus is on Women Empowerment, Child Education & Health Care. World is making continuous efforts towards women who are not actively participating in their emancipation due to their lack of economic independence and illiteracy. There is a need to address this issue by raising the status of women. The solution to this problem lies in women empowerment through economic self-sufficiency and awareness programmes on social, political, gender discrimination, sexual exploitation, equal rights and legal issues through mobilization. There is also a need to recognize and emphasize the diverse roles of women such as reproductive, productive and community management. Women should be organized and strengthened at the grass root level to end their subordination.
